The Witchery By The Castle is one of (if not the most) beautiful resaraunts in the entire world. We stumbled upon it by chance, and I'm forever grateful to Jeremy for discovering it.
“I don't think we'll be able to afford eating here.” I whispered to Jeremy...but I was wrong! Their lunch menu had affordable pricing.
This place offers affordable, luxury fine dining, Afternoon Tea, secret garden seclusion and it's even a luxurious hotel!
The Witchery is located underneath Boswells Court on the Royal Mile (Edinburgh Castle end) in Edinburgh, Scotland. It had romantic dim lighting, five star cuisine and heaps of celebrity customers like: JK Rowling, Leo DiCaprio and many more...we actually got to sit at the Harry Potter creators booth! For dinner you need reservations and a polished outfit, but for lunch you can walk in anytime and wear whatever makes you comfortable. Our maitre d' was friendly and patient, and the food (I got duck, Jeremy got haddock) was to die for! For lunch it was fine dining on a dime!
