This year has been a whirlwind for me...I began writing my debut novel SMOKE AND MIRRORS in March, and finished the first draft in September! We gained a new kitty named Gilligan into our family and he gets along wonderfully with our other 2 cats, Sabrina and Todd. I got to visit a bucket list destination in July- ALASKA- and it was magical. My Dad had open heart surgery, and he made it through and is currently in physical therapy and doing well! And last but not least, my little brother and his wife are having a baby!
I like reflecting at the end of the year and making sure I remember the things that are important and being thankful for what I have. It's not to say that everything has been great, there have been financial struggles, battles with depression, a family member had a stroke (but is okay now), and both of our cars crapped out on us this year, forcing us to get 2 cars nearly at the same time and that was TOUGH.
I am so excited for 2024...for making new book besties, for hopefully getting to travel again to somewhere beautiful, and for releasing SMOKE and MIRRORS and my novella THE FORGOTTEN HEIR to the world!
My birthday is Dec 22, and I know that 35 is going to be MY year....and I'm thrilled to have you all along for this next ride around the sun.
