Hollyrood Palace is currently owned by the Queen of England, and it has been standing for hundreds of years. The arcitecture was incredible.

We took a tour of the Royal Mile using Mercat Cross Tours. I am so glad we chose them because we ended up getting a PRIVATE tour! It was AWESOME!
We found this tour on Travelocity. Our tour was almost cancelled because no one else showed up, but our tour guide Linda was a blast and gave us a private tour! We got to see David Ruccio's grave site and many other historic sites along our walk and it ended at Holyrood Palace...our particular tour included entrance into the palace and a self guided tour through Mary Queen of Scot's apartments, the Abby and the entire grounds! Super cheap pricing at roughly $25 a person.
