There are so many options! So choosing is all dependent on what you desire in a hotel.

We stayed at the Wylie Inn at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts...and look at it!!! It's HUGE!
“Susan that works the night shift was amazing, I even got to decorate their Halloween pumpkin!”
This was the perfect spot for us to stay. Only 20 minutes from Boston, 5 minutes from Salem and 20 from Gloucester. The train station was just down the street and there was ample, affordable parking.
Wylie Inn
The hotel had the softest, largest beds I had ever slept on outside of my own home and I am so grateful because we drove 18 hours to get there (cross country road trip!) and we were exhausted. This place has a bar, private beach, hiking trails, amazing showers and great breakfast! Normally the rooms can get up to $300 a night, but I did a ton of digging and scored it for $164 a night using booking.com. I suggest downloading the MBTA app for using the train system and subway system (for Boston travelers) and parking in the parking garage if there is a space available. Its only $2 a day in the parking garage and $8 at the meters...so either way, you can't lose. The hotel is conveniently located just a few moments from downtown Beverly and the train station...but you can eat at the hotel restaurant as well! Jeremy and I made friends with Susan on the night shift and we decorated pumpkins and learned so much about our surroundings from her! So if you want 4 star luxury for a 2 star budget...dig around and snag this fancy place asap! (October prices are higher because people go to see the fall foliage like we did...so just plan ahead!)
